What You’re Applying For:

The National Accounts Manager consults with, supports, and sells Edmunds’ dealer products Edmunds’ National Dealer Accounts. The National Accounts Manager reviews on-line business practices and consults with dealership management and Internet department staff regarding on-line best practices leveraging Edmunds.com’s proprietary analytics. The National Accounts Manager is charged with ongoing relationship management with the dealer including reinforcing the Edmunds value proposition through ongoing counseling and product enhancement and new product introduction meetings for their core regional constituent dealerships. As a representative of the Edmunds brand in the marketplace, the National Accounts Manager must not only be professional and talented, but they should also have a healthy respect for automotive retailers and a passion for improving the car buying experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process/create agreements upon request.
  • Send out monthly performance reports to group clients.
  • Communicate with internal teams to accomplish objectives. (Tier 3 Sales, Analytics, Product, Accounting and Marketing).
  • Analyze group performance, provide insight and prepare presentations with support/direction from the National Accounts Executive Director.
  • Maintain Playbook and Salesforce.com with direction from the National Account to the sales field.
  • Manage monthly billing. From time to time, assist with group billing issues.
  • Coordinate training sessions with group clients as needed.
  • Accompany National Account Executive Director, on occasion, to group meetings.
  • Prepare summaries to share with senior management.
  • Prepare and present National groups business reviews on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Present new products and solutions to National groups.

What You Need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional direct sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor fellow team members in selling techniques and best practices
  • History of success with B2B sales
  • Significant travel required
  • Strong business consulting, analysis and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently from a remote/home office
  • Motivated self-starter with the desire to succeed in a fast-paced rapidly growing company
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Google Analytics, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred

Compensation consists of base salary plus commission, for a total compensation of $140,000 - $220,000. In addition, Edmunds offers full-time employees a comprehensive total rewards package including the benefits listed below.
