As an expert Media Planning Operations Manager, you will play a key role in designing new media processes, deploying new ad tech, supporting our change to a global in-house function, and ensuring high-impact campaigns deliver brand growth and measurable outcomes. Core Responsibilities
  • Global Operations Strategy & Vision – Support the development and delivery of our global media operations strategy, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and business priorities. Help drive a data-led, consumer-centric approach that improves media efficiency and effectiveness across markets.
  • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in media planning and recommend solutions for continuous improvement. Lead onboarding and training for tools such as media planning software, attribution platforms, and budget management systems.
  • Project Leadership & Capability Building - Lead operations project workstreams within the Global Media Operations function. Share ways of working, champion operational excellence, and encourage collaboration and learning internally as well as external partners.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the main liaison between strategy, activation, analytics, and finance to ensure operational excellence across the full campaign lifecycle. Collaborate with vendors and the agency to evaluate tools and drive reporting efficiencies and workflow automation.
  • Innovation, Tech & Ecosystem Strategy - Stay informed on industry trends and new technologies (e.g., AI, retail media, data privacy). Support the adoption of new tools and processes that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making across digital media.

It is pivotal in bringing that vision to life, acting as the go-to expert to help build and evolve the Media Operations function to drive smarter, more connected, and more effective media across the world. You will bring a strategic approach, cross-functional leadership, and media expertise to help shape our approach in a fast-evolving digital world.

Supporting our LEGO media and integrating global strategy directly contributes to optimising media spend, enhancing campaign effectiveness, and building robust internal processes that will define our digital effectiveness in the future.

Do you have what it takes?

  • In-depth experience in Digital and traditional media at a top-tier brand, agency or tech company in a project management role delivering multiple priorities.
  • Proven track record in managing campaigns, optimizing budgets, and improving operational workflows.
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
  • Strong understanding of digital media platforms, ad tech tools, and measurement frameworks.
  • A commitment to purposeful, ethical marketing in line with our values and mission.
  • English language both written and spoken at a professional proficiency level is important.
  • Ability to work 3 days a week from our office in Copenhagen (2 days working from home)
