What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Lead the interpretation and management of Business Units (BU) financial requirements and offer ad-hoc analytics to aid business decisions.
- Spearhead the delivery of financial planning needs, constantly seeking ways to enhance financial support and guide operational teams in managing projects.
- Identify areas for improvement in products, processes, or services and provide guidance on moderately complex projects, managing time and resources effectively.
- Apply skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to departmental work, making decisions to resolve moderately complex problems and developing new options in non-standard situations.
- Work independently on assignments, receiving instruction on unusual or complex problems, and review your own work while mentoring others.
- Support the Finance Director and BU Leadership in resource allocation and opportunity identification across the portfolio.
- Coordinate, build, and implement the planning and budgeting process, including last estimates and forecasts for each business unit, and follow up on results.
- Manage the preparation of internal and external presentations of Budget and Business Reviews, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of monthly and quarterly financial results.
- Actively participate in Site/Unit Leadership Meetings, Operating Review Meetings, and other meetings to support the site's leadership and strategic direction.
- Provide necessary financial information and consequences of operating decisions to stakeholders, demonstrating technical/functional expertise and strong industry knowledge.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associate's degree with at least 8 years of experience or high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Capability to deliver compelling presentations and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Organizational prowess and adept time management
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to cultivate robust working relationships with leaders and support staff across various departments
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
- Master's degree with relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Related business or financial experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, SAP, and Mosaic
- Demonstrating strong customer relationship skills

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $96,300.00 to $160,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
