Job Description
Job Summary
The Manager, Marketing Operations will implement and manage all marketing project workflows, run the project management process, secure approvals, and ensure all Marketing and Communications tasks are executed on deadline. While reporting to the VP, Marketing and Communications, this position will manage the team that oversees all day-to-day operational functions under Marketing.
Essential Functions
- Implement and manage all marketing project workflows and project management processes, while balancing speed to market, channel-specific recommendations to maintain efficient, high-quality and results-driven output
- Develop or review scope and high-level requirements for projects and review with the stakeholders and the business to ensure accurate requirements are established prior to project initiation.
- Develop, publish, manage and monitor Marketing’s project schedule to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner, within budget, and with high quality.
- Analyze proposed solutions, measure campaign performance, make recommendations and provide solutions to ensure projects meet current needs and provides flexibility for future business needs
- Maintain and communicate project status to marketing leadership and appropriate business owners
- Creating, submitting and tracking survey results for each event/initiative
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or similar discipline.
- Six (6) plus years of marketing/creative/project management experience.
- One (1) plus years of management experience.
- Experience with innovative strategies to drive marketing processes in the company
- Strong time management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Diplomacy in communications and interpersonal communications skills.
- Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
- High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
- Analytical, evaluative and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate with others in a fast-paced, action oriented and collaborative environment
