Position Overview
The Marketing Manager, Global Events will lead event strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of Nextpower's global events, trade shows, executive engagements, customer experiences, field marketing activations, and event-based brand programs.
This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for delivering high-impact customer experiences that support company goals and reinforce the Nextpower brand. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing, this role partners closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Finance, Legal, and regional teams, and manages executive stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to execute scalable, measurable event programs worldwide.

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Hybrid (three days per week at Fremont headquarters)
Global Events and Customer Experiences
You will lead global event programs that strengthen customer relationships, support commercial priorities, and create measurable business impact. Responsibilities include:
Lead end-to-end planning and execution for global trade shows, conferences,
customer summits, executive briefings, partner events, and hospitality programs, including budgets, timelines, staffing, production schedules, agency management, and post-event reporting.
Support the annual global events strategy, including event prioritization, audience planning, regional needs, product launches, and customer engagement goals.
Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and executive stakeholders to define event objectives, messaging, product storytelling, demonstrations, and customer engagement strategies.
Coordinate event logistics, including booth operations, registration, shipping, executive schedules, customer meetings, hospitality, and on-site execution.
Manage customer-facing event assets—including presentations, signage, collateral, booth experiences, product demonstrations, and digital content—to ensure brand consistency and technical accuracy.
Manage agencies, production partners, venues, fabricators, and vendors to deliver high-quality programs while maintaining budget discipline.
Measure event performance using KPIs, customer feedback, pipeline influence, and ROI to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future investment.
Brand Experiences and Event Enablement
You will ensure a consistent, high-quality brand presence across global events, sponsorships, field marketing programs, and executive engagements. Responsibilities include:
Serve as the day-to-day steward of the Nextpower brand across events by maintaining high standards for booth design, signage, presentations, product displays, and customer experiences.
Ensure customer experiences stay credible, practical, and relevant for developers, EPCs, asset owners, operators, utilities, and investors.
Lead cross-functional planning by coordinating priorities, timelines, budgets, approvals, agencies, vendors, and stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership.
Develop project plans, executive briefings, staffing guides, customer meeting plans, and post-event summaries that translate business priorities into actionable execution roadmaps.
Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and next steps to stakeholders while proactively identifying and resolving execution challenges.
Drive accountability and operational discipline across the regions to keep global event programs on schedule and aligned with business and brand goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Eight or more years of B2B marketing experience with significant responsibility for global events, experiential marketing, field marketing, customer marketing, or integrated marketing.
Proven success in strategic event marketing, planning and executing trade shows, conferences, customer events, executive engagements, and supporting field marketing programs that enable sales, customer engagement, and product launches.
Strong experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets, timelines, and complex cross-functional initiatives.
Experience collaborating with Sales, Product Marketing, Finance, Legal, and executive stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity and align diverse teams.
Experience using KPIs, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate performance and improve future programs.
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting product launches, customer summits, executive briefings, technical demonstrations, and large international trade shows.
Experience developing scalable event toolkits, brand systems, field marketing assets, and customer experience standards for global organizations.
Experience in renewable energy, industrial technology, manufacturing, infrastructure, power generation, or other complex B2B industries.
Experience marketing to developers, EPCs, utilities, asset owners, operators, investors, or similar energy infrastructure stakeholders.
Experience supporting events across North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, India, or Asia Pacific.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related considerations. The annual target total cash compensation for this position is $145,000–$160,000, which includes base salary and target commission. Actual compensation may vary based on sales target achievements. This role is also eligible for equity as part of the total compensation package.
