SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable event experiences? Join Merit Medical as our Manager, Marketing Events and Education, where you'll play a pivotal role in organizing, supporting, and executing both in-person and virtual events that elevate our brand visibility and market awareness.
In this dynamic position, you'll collaborate with cross-functional marketing and business teams to turn strategies into impactful event experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing event activities and resources, developing detailed project plans, and ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports and collaborates with the marketing and business teams in executing virtual and live event and education activities, following the agreed key brand positioning, marketing strategies, internal processes, brand guidelines, communication plans, collaterals, etc.

Manages event activities and resources, including travel and accommodation arrangements, procurement, literature, graphics, marketing logistics, event registration, promotional items and campaigns, display units, shipping and event analysis.

Develops detailed project plans to monitor and track project progress, maintains detailed project documentation and records, updates databases, calendars and reports.

Proactively communicates with stakeholders to manage expectations, timelines, and logistics, reports changes and risks to project scope, and delivers extraordinary customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.

Supports stakeholders on accessing and using core functionality of event platforms and tools for events and education, evaluates program impact and metrics.

Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

•    Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality or related field.
•    Five years of event and project management experience.

•    Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
•    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
•    Demonstrated time management skills.
•    Ability to work as a team member.
•    Ability to train others on processes, systems and equipment.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to work with others effectively to analyse problems and implement solutions.
•    Demonstrated computer skills with spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
