Job Summary

Responsible for the strategy, oversight and execution of cross-functional marketing programs. Execute programs, promotions, and collateral designed to increase sales effectiveness and meet business financial goals. Responsible for identifying and implementing operational process improvements.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Creates and manages marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive traffic, increase sales, attract new customers, and retain existing business. Oversees campaign projects and executes on deliverables.
  • Gathers initiative and campaign performance data, builds reporting to measure ROI, analyzes learnings, assesses information, and provides feedback and recommendations to senior leadership team on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Conducts market research to analyze competitors, understand customer needs, and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Oversees daily department activities and manages creative resources including but not limited to; graphic design, print/paper buying, quoting, invoicing, scheduling (staff, resources, and projects), proofing, budgeting, & reporting.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams (Operations, Sourcing, IT, and HR) to ensure timely execution of projects and materials.
  • Supervises the performance of associates and recognizes, trains, coaches, counsels, and takes corrective action when warranted.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
