Job Summary
The Manager of Marketing Campaigns will lead the development and execution of multi-channel campaigns for the ZOLL Cardiac Management Solutions (CMS) U.S. business and provide strategic consultation as needed for international marketing teams. This will be accomplished through collaboration with Product Marketing and other internal customers to adapt strategies/business objectives into tactical campaign plans. This individual will provide direct oversight to team members that manage PR, communications, digital marketing, and non-personal promotions, and collaborate closely with colleagues across all marketing strategic and operational functions. The successful candidate will be able to balance creative vision with executional excellence, be comfortable in recommending optimizations based on marketing metrics, and be driven to work for a company with a mission to positively impact the lives of cardiac patients worldwide.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to turn strategic marketing initiatives into integrated multi-channel communication plans and campaigns that include objectives, target audiences, positioning, program details, budgets, and success metrics.
- Lead the execution of multi-channel campaigns and content strategy/development (including but not limited to PR, print advertising, display advertising, email marketing, social marketing, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with team members to identify opportunities for campaign consistency across channels, including members responsible for brand management, collateral design, international market launch/support, tradeshow execution, and sales enablement.
- Oversee marketing campaign metrics with delivery of regular reports including executive summary and recommendations for optimization.
- Oversee ZOLL CMS social media strategy, including development of program goals, project prioritization, content development pipeline, and cross-functional alignment.
- Oversee ZOLL CMS commercial websites and provide project management oversight for website special projects.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for back-end marketing optimization/integration.
- Manage team members who will lead/support PR, communications (internal & external), website management, and digital marketing (display, email, social, etc.).
- Identify and select vendors according to project and business requirements and hold suppliers accountable to performance standards.
- Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate best practices into campaign/messaging plans for the business.
- Oversee assigned areas of marketing budget, including forecasting and tracking spend.
- Work with marketing colleagues to ensure that all content is taken through proper Regulatory, Quality and Legal reviews in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Marketing Communications.
- Support internal communication projects as assigned.
- Provide marketing consultation and support to international colleagues as requested/assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience working in marketing or communications.

Bachelor Degree required. MBA preferred.

Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.

Experience with creative development process, including concept development, messaging and copy, and working with designers to execute creative vision.

Experience with strategy, concept development, copy, and execution of print and digital/multi-media channels including video and web advertising preferred.

Experience measuring campaign effectiveness and ROI and recommending adjustments accordingly.

Prior experience managing the work of other team members in a project management capacity required, as is experience creating team objectives and goals and holding team members accountable for performance against goals.

Experience working with marketing colleagues in different geographies preferred.

Experience with website management.

The individual must be well-organized, have a high attention for detail, deadline driven, and have the tenacity to see a project from start to finish.

Must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Illustrator) highly preferred.
