Role Description:

Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, the Manager, Marketing and Communications leads the planning, creation, and execution of corporate content and campaigns across digital and social media channels in support of QuadReal's business objectives. This role manages QuadReal's corporate digital marcomm activity across external platforms and select internal channels when required, setting the content and channel strategy that underpins that activity and measuring its impact, with a focus on consistent, on-brand delivery and reliable channel-level reporting.

Responsibilities:

Collaboration

  • Work with the Director, Digital Marketing, and Communications & Marketing peers to set annual campaign priorities and define the KPIs that measure them, then lead planning and execution against those targets.
  • Work closely with in-house design, marketing, and communications specialists and external vendors to deliver high-impact campaigns.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with external creative, content, and social media agencies, ensuring deliverables are aligned with QuadReal's brand guidelines, corporate strategy, and campaign objectives.

Content & Social Media Management

  • Own the enterprise editorial calendar and set the content strategy behind it, ensuring alignment with corporate, asset class, and platform activities to build engagement and reach across corporate channels.
  • Draft and produce stories and campaigns about QuadReal's platforms, and corporate activities across formats and channels, including story ideation, research, and performance tracking, aligned to enterprise corporate and digital strategies.
  • Responsible for ensuring delivery of brand-compliant creative, including image and video content.

Digital Marketing & Analytics

  • Ensure external content is optimized for user experience, SEO, and GEO.
  • Monitor and report on social media KPIs, content performance, and website traffic driven by social channels, surfacing insights to inform planning, programming, and content pillars.
  • Build and maintain a regular reporting cadence for leadership — channel dashboards, campaign post-mortems, and benchmarking against peer and sector performance.
  • Use structured testing (format, timing, creative, messaging) to refine the content approach, and translate results into recommendations that shape go-forward planning and execution.
  • Oversee community management, setting response protocols and escalation paths, and personally handling sensitive or reputational inquiries.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media management, including experience leading campaigns or programs end to end.
  • University degree in a related field of study considered an asset, though an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience owning agency and vendor relationships — scoping work, managing budget, and holding creative and content deliverables to brand and strategic standards.
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems and digital asset management.
  • Familiarity with SEO and GEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; sound judgment in interpersonal relations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of building a content or channel strategy from business objectives — setting priorities, defining success measures, and adjusting based on performance data.
  • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and asset classes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience translating channel performance into insight and recommendations for senior leadership.
