As our Manager of Market Analysis, you will be at the forefront of Erickson Senior Living's growth strategy, identifying and evaluating opportunities that shape where and how we expand.

This highly impactful role influences critical decisions related to new community development, acquisitions, and strategic investments. With plans to open one new community each year, you'll have the unique opportunity to help drive our continued growth, contribute to industry-leading expansion initiatives, and make a lasting impact on the future of senior living.

This person will lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of both qualitative and quantitative market data, leveraging primary and secondary research to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support executive decision-making.

This position is based onsite at our Home Office in Catonsville, Maryland.

How you will make an impact

  • Identify consumer market characteristics and key target market/primary market factors, including geographic barriers, psychological barriers (price, geographic), product preferences and concerns, reputation issues, etc. 

  • Analyze market demographics to provide insight into the potential for market demand at varying pricing/positioning levels and different care needs. 

  • Develop a profile of other products in the marketplace, including the competitive set (existing and new) and substitutes, to understand their offering, pricing, and positioning. 

  • Summarize all the data gathered and provide a written summary of each market attribute analyzed to guide recommendations for key project attributes 

  • Complete competitive analysis, identify and track new entrants and overall market environment. 

  •  Provide regular analysis of local economic indicators in our current and prospective markets, such as real estate market trends, employment growth, unemployment rates, etc.  

What you will need 

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in market analysis field or a mix of quantitative and qualitative market research experience. 

  • Preferred background in real estate, senior living, healthcare, or related industry. 

Compensation:  $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus
