Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As our Manufacturing Manager, you will be empowered to lead, innovate, and drive the success of our production operations. We are looking for a leader who can transform strategic objectives into reality. Here’s how you’ll make a difference:
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team
  • Mentor and Inspire: Cultivate a positive and ambitious team culture where employees can excel. You will guide supervisors and team members, providing the leadership and framework for consistent, high-quality performance across all shifts.
  • Champion Career Growth: Act as a dedicated coach for your team, identifying development opportunities and creating clear paths for career advancement.
  • Build Your Team: Take ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, from recruiting and hiring top talent to conducting performance reviews, and recognizing achievements.
Drive Operational & Financial Excellence
  • Spearhead Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
  • Own Your Department's Budget: Take charge of the department’s financial health by managing expenses, aligning with budget targets, and making strategic recommendations for future investments.
  • Achieve Peak Productivity: Set clear performance expectations and empower your team with the tools and benchmarks needed to meet and exceed production goals and deadlines.
Deliver on Our Promise of Quality & Safety
  • Uphold World-Class Quality: Partner with the Quality team to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations, guiding your team to become experts in our quality promise.
  • Foster a Premier Safety Culture: Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to champion a secure and proactive work environment, holding everyone accountable for our safety programs and contributing ideas for their improvement.
Make a Strategic Impact
  • Shape Departmental Goals: Develop and execute departmental objectives, using data and KPIs to track progress, report on successes to leadership, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Tackle complex operational issues, using your analytical skills and creativity to develop effective and innovative solutions.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Serve as a key representative for the manufacturing department on important project teams, with opportunities to lead initiatives that have a significant impact on the business.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Work Experience: 5+ years, including at least 3 years as a supervisor

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrate leadership, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound reasoning and decision-making ability; strong analytical skills.

Pay Range:

$96,800.00 - $145,200.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
