Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and develop the engineering function at our site in Israel. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting production, and leading the transfer of products from R&D into manufacturing in a regulated medical environment.

You will play a key role in improving process efficiency, product quality, and scalability, all whilst building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team. Reporting to VP Ops Israel with extensive exposure and interaction with other global manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of manufacturing/production engineers (8 employees)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (yield, scrap reduction, cycle time, OEE)
  • Own NPI/transfer-to-production processes, including validations (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Manage engineering changes (ECO) and configuration control
  • Oversee design and implementation of manufacturing tools, jigs, and fixtures
  • Support production in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Lead selection, installation and qualification of new equipment
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality and Operations
  • Build and execute annual engineering roadmap and KPIs
Required Qualifications
    • BSc. in Mechanical / Materials Engineering (or similar)
    • 5+ years in manufacturing engineering (preferably medical devices)
    • 3+ years in people management
    • Hands-on experience with validations (IQ/OQ/PQ)
    • Strong knowledge of ISO 13845 / regulated environments
    • Experience with process improvements methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma – advantage)
    • Proven experience in scaled manufacturing and mass production  
    • CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD – advantage)
    • Fluent Hebrew and English

Skills Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a similar discipline
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in medical devices
  • At least 3 years of people management experience
  • Hands-on experience with IQ/OQ/PQ validations
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13845 and regulated environments
  • Experience with scaled manufacturing and mass production
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Experience with CAD tools including SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Fluent Hebrew and English
