Job Duties and Responsibilities
Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an innovative and strategic leader to manage and support a team of DISH and Sling analysts in driving initiatives that minimize churn, maximize customer profitability, and enhance lifecycle loyalty management. As a key player in the organization, you will leverage data-driven insights, financial modeling, and cross-department collaboration to implement impactful retention solutions:

  • Team Leadership - Guide and support your team to uncover new opportunities, identify business risks, and drive actionable solutions that optimize customer loyalty and retention
  • Strategic Coaching - Mentor your team in critical thinking, analytics-driven problem-solving, and consulting-based approaches to convert data into actionable business insights.
  • Retention Operations - Leverage financial modeling to design strategic retention offers and improve profitability through operational efficiency.
  • AI/ML Innovation s - Spearhead the development and implementation of AI/ML initiatives to mitigate churn with creative, data-driven strategies.
  • Project Management - Oversee the end-to-end process of project execution, from opportunity identification and strategic recommendation to implementation and refinement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Build strong partnerships across departments to inform and execute effective retention strategies.
  • Executive Communication - Synthesize complex data and deliver compelling, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, including SVPs and Presidents.
  • Industry Expertise - Stay informed about competitive strategies and industry trends to anticipate challenges and capitalize on opportunities in the video services market.
  • Technical Acumen - Understand, review, and contribute to the SQL code and Tableau reports created by your team to ensure accuracy and support further technical development.


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline demonstrating strong logical and analytical thinking.
  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading analytics-focused teams.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or strategic roles, with proven success driving measurable outcomes.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Strong track record of guiding teams to achieve organizational KPIs and goals.


Skills and Expertise:

  • Proficiency in creating and managing analytical models, dynamic reports, and dashboards using SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of working with large datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored to audiences ranging from team members to executive leadership.
  • Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of the video services industry and competitive landscape.


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
