Manager, LG Channels Content Operations

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Onsite)

About the Role

LG Electronics is seeking a Manager, LG Channels Content Operations to support and scale LG Channels' FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) and AVOD (Advertising-Based Video on Demand) business. This role will oversee day-to-day operational execution across channel and VOD initiatives while serving as a key cross-functional partner to internal stakeholders, external platform partners, and LG headquarters.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to independently manage complex operational workflows, troubleshoot issues proactively, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced streaming media environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational execution of FAST channel launches, removals, content refreshes, and channel positioning updates across LG Channels platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with distribution, delivery, and technology partners, including Amagi, Wurl, Xumo, Frequency, and Ottera.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues affecting FAST channels and VOD content.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Programming, Product, Advertising Operations, and Content Licensing teams to support strategic initiatives and ensure operational readiness.
  • Oversee VOD content operations, including metadata ingestion, artwork management, content delivery coordination, storage workflows, and platform quality assurance.
  • Analyze content performance, operational metrics, and industry trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and platform optimization.
  • Collaborate with HQ and R&D teams on testing, implementation, and deployment of new operational tools and product features.
  • Support advertising and monetization initiatives through ad tagging, reporting, measurement, and platform optimization efforts.
  • Develop recurring operational and performance reports to support business planning, content strategy, and leadership decision-making.
  • Manage content licensing payment workflows and coordinate with finance and content stakeholders on reconciliation activities.
  • Support leadership with partner discussions, operational planning, and strategic content initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in streaming media operations, content distribution, digital media operations, FAST/AVOD environments, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of streaming platforms, FAST channels, VOD ecosystems, metadata workflows, content delivery systems, and digital content operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and resolve operational challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional internal teams and external business partners.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with streaming CMS platforms and digital content management systems.
  • Experience utilizing analytics and reporting tools to evaluate operational performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Studies, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising operations and content monetization workflows.
Work Environment
  • Full-time onsite position located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
  • Must be available to participate in occasional evening meetings with LG headquarters in Korea.
Recruiting Range
$40$55 USD
