The Manager, Legal Operations Process & Technology is a key member of the Legal team, responsible for assisting the legal department in a variety of ways including designing, improving, and scaling operational processes that support all areas of the legal function, including litigation, M&A, employment, commercial, and compliance. This role partners closely with attorneys, paralegals, contract managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to assist in a variety of functions of the legal department with a particular focus on streamline workflows; to implement, operationalize, and assist in the utilization of technology‑enabled solutions; and drive operational efficiency across the Legal department.
This role is well suited for a process‑oriented professional with a strong background in program or product management, legal operations, or complex operational environments. The ideal candidate is highly comfortable with technology, data, and automation, including AI tools, and brings a practical, hands‑on mindset to improving how legal work gets done. While administrative support is a shared responsibility across the team, including this position, this role is expected to contribute meaningfully to operational execution in addition to strategic process development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, document, and continuously improve end‑to‑end legal processes across multiple practice areas, including litigation, M&A, corporate governance, employment, commercial, and compliance and assist thereafter with the use thereof.
- Partner with legal stakeholders to identify operational pain points and translate them into scalable, technology‑enabled solutions and assist thereafter with the use thereof.
- Apply program and product management principles to legal initiatives, including roadmap development, prioritization, execution, and stakeholder communication.
- Develop and maintain workflows, playbooks, process maps, and standard operating procedures to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability and assist thereafter with the use thereof.
- Support the implementation, optimization, and day‑to‑day use of legal technology tools, including contract management systems, intake tools, workflow automation, reporting dashboards, and AI‑enabled solutions and assist thereafter with the use thereof.
- Leverage data to drive decision‑making by building and maintaining reports, trackers, data analytics and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and, where appropriate, Microsoft Access.
- Partner with Legal Operations leadership on change management, training, and adoption of new tools and processes.
- Assist with cross‑functional initiatives requiring legal process input, including due diligence, integrations, and operational readiness efforts.
- Contribute to shared administrative and operational responsibilities across the Legal team, ensuring high standards of organization, responsiveness, and follow‑through. This requires absolute attention to details and accuracy.
- Support onboarding and training of new Legal team members on processes, tools, and operational best practices.
- Stay current on legal operations trends, emerging technologies (including AI), and best practices, bringing forward ideas that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- If skills permit, assist commercial with first review of agreements and/or handling small negotiations, following our developed playbooks and using streamlined tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, degree in business, technology, operations, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in legal operations, program management, product management, process improvement, or a similarly complex operational role.
- Experience supporting or working closely with legal teams across multiple practice areas is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience designing and scaling processes in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
- Experience working with MSAs, SOWs, NDAs and OFs, strongly preferred.

- Program and product management mindset, including comfort with roadmaps, prioritization, and cross‑functional execution.
- High degree of comfort with technology, including legal tech platforms, workflow tools, and emerging AI solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and proficiency with Microsoft Access (Databases).
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and operational rigor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate operational concepts for legal and business audiences.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and service‑oriented approach, with a willingness to contribute to shared administrative responsibilities.

The pay range for this position is as follows:
