Summary:
This is an onsite position at the Amherst, OH facility.

This position will be responsible for the execution of Learning initiatives. Support includes the delivery of leadership development courses and skills training for plant Team Members; day 1 and beyond orientation; OJT training; measuring the learner experience; launching and collecting surveys to solicit feedback; ongoing identification of improvement opportunities; implement feedback. This position will interact regularly with HR and operations, as well as other management support and hourly Team Members. This position will directly oversee hourly training assistants and indirectly oversee on-the-job trainers.
Responsibilities:
- Review training needs with complex/plant management teams as assigned.
- Identify gaps in training and work with the location leaders to close those gaps.
- Collect and analyze course feedback
- Manage qualification process (Ops), including tracking of progress, and pay and job impacts once qualified
- Delivery of live training and organize facility-based training, e.g. OTJ Training and Onboarding, leadership and soft-skill.
- Managing a team across all shifts.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience: 2 years relevant work experience.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization. Bi-lingual (spanish) is strongly preferred.
Special Skills: Extensive Operations and Manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work with all levels of Team Members and develop positive and strong business partner relationships. Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year.
