Purpose:
The Learning & Capabilities Manager is responsible for leading the site’s training strategy, capability development, and workforce learning systems to ensure employees are equipped with the technical, leadership, and compliance-related skills necessary to achieve business objectives. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, HR, and site leadership to build a high-performing learning culture that supports operational excellence, talent development, and sustained business performance. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the site learning and capability strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Establish training governance, standards, and systems ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Lead capability-building initiatives across technical, operational, and leadership domains.
• Support onboarding, certification, cross-training, and technical upskilling.
• Facilitate leadership development programs focused on coaching, accountability, and emotional intelligence.
• Manage learning systems, training records, and capability tracking tools.
• Establish KPIs related to training completion, qualification status, and effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement in training delivery methods and capability outcomes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Education, HR, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in training, learning & development, or capability building.
• Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device environments preferred.
