Manager- Last Bite

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Manager of Last Bite. In this role, you will be responsible for managing The Last Bite Candy Shop, including providing a positive guest experience that exceeds expectations.

 

Salary Range - $65,000

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee daily shift operations to ensure smooth service, maintain store cleanliness, and a positive guest experience.
  • Recruit, train, and lead associates while promoting great service and a strong team morale.
  • Support and guide team members during shifts, including assigning tasks and providing coaching.
  • Oversee candy and supply orders, monitor stock levels, and coordinate appropriately.
  • Track sales, hit revenue goals, manage promotions, and control budgets.
  • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and company standards are consistently followed.
  • Help train new hires and support ongoing development of team members.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance, staffing, and any operational concerns.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years of retail and/or food & beverage experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) space or high-volume restaurant/food outlet is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
  • Ability to constantly stand and walk, reach and grasp.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
