The Manager, Key Accounts sells Lincare Long Term Care services to existing nursing home corporations, nursing homes, GPOs, and other similar business-to-business healthcare accounts.
- Ensures customer satisfaction levels are high with corporate accounts
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establishes and maintains relationships with customer accounts
- Responsible for maintaining a predetermined number of contracts/nursing homes
- Identifies and develops new business
- Prepares for and participates in trade shows, exhibits, and advertising campaigns
- Conducts in-service for customers, educating them in the use and application of Lincare equipment
- Initiates resolution to complaints from customers with the appropriate management
- Provides marketing information to management as requested and/or made available
- Inputs and maintains Lincare's Sales Tracking System and submit reports as requested
- Follows-up on lost-to-competition customers to identify problems with product or services and reports to management
- Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts
- Understands and provides information on pricing information and product information to customers
- Negotiates and submits agreements for review and approval
- May be required to set up new customers, as well as perform facility assessments
- Follows applicable policies and procedures of the Safety & Regulatory Manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (driving safety), FDA, and Emergency Planning
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Required
- Bachelor's Degree, Preferred
- 1-3 years sales in healthcare, Preferred
- Proven leadership in business development and closing sales, Required
- Demonstrated history of meeting performance objectives, Required
- Excellent verbal communications are a must
- Licensed Respiratory Thespist, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Excellent Time Management
- Excellent human relations to interface with business decision makers and customers
- Computer literate
- basic and advanced selling
- convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees
- Maintain composure in high pressure situations
- Capable of following an issue through to its conclusion
- effectively interact with all levels of the Lincare organization as well as Customers
- Extensive travel required for appointments and customer meetings
Skills Required
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 1-3 years sales experience in the healthcare experience Preferred
- Proven leadership skills in business development and closing sales Required
- Demonstrated history of meeting performance objectives Required
- Excellent verbal communications skills are a must Required
