ROLE OVERVIEW
As an important contact window, this role will lead the functional teams inside of tms to ensure delivery of an uninterrupted supply of products & services to the customers(Global top brand in industry).
The day to day work comes from multiple projects and tasks. We combine all those project management, product management, supplier management...into a concept of category management.
Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the China markets' overall and specific Merchandise requirements in order to align the company's category services which result in maximizing added value to the customer.
- Proactively establish mutually beneficial relationships with key stake-holders in the customers' organization which include Supply Chain; Operations; Marketing, Suppliers and 3rd party test lab.
- Manage promotion campaigns from Merchandise product perspective for customer including providing timeline, communicating with internal team, customer marketing, supply chain, DC, graphic agency and suppliers for graphic management and approval, sampling validation and assuring supply.
- Assure information and data accuracy to both internally and externally.
- Ensure that the appropriate stakeholders within the customer's organization are fully briefed and aware of new and ongoing projects.
- Lead and prepare the quarterly Business Reviews Meeting with key stake-holders with the customer's organization.
- Lead the innovation cutting with suppliers and prepare long-term product pipeline for customer brand.
- Provide feedback on the market strategies and issues impacting the business, e.g., promotional calendars, major trading issues, economic & political changes.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 years + experience in either of the following: Merchandise/Gift product company. Deep understanding of industry.
- KA, sales, customer service background is MUST.
- Strong ability to work under pressure.
- Project Management expertise with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relationship management skill including internal and external. (Soft skill)
- Can read and write English document and email.
- Exposure to Chinese market dynamics, etiquette and political affinity.
- Team management skill (1-2 direct reports to this role).
