What you will do in this role:

The ITQA Testing Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust software testing policies, procedures, and best practices across the IT organization. This role will lead and mentor a team of IT testing professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on testing experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives for future testing scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy & Process Development:

    • Create and maintain IT software testing policies, procedures, and standards.

    • Define and enforce best practices for test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management.

  • Testing Leadership & Guidance:

    • Provide guidance to IT Testers, Project Managers, Developers, and Systems Analysts on proper testing protocols.

    • Oversee UAT planning and execution, ensuring quality and compliance.

  • Team Management:

    • Lead and mentor IT testing resources, including offshore teams and Managed Services vendors.

    • Train project stakeholders on validation and testing best practices.

  • Compliance & Regulatory Alignment:

    • Ensure testing processes meet compliance and audit requirements for 21 CFR Part 820, GxP, and CSV.

    • Support transition initiatives from CSV to CSA frameworks.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Apply strong knowledge of SDLC and enforce best practices across projects.

    • Manage testing for ERP systems, SaaS applications, and manufacturing systems.

    • Drive adoption of automation and performance testing tools and methodologies.

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Develop a roadmap for future testing needs, scalability, and tool implementation.

    • Collaborate with leadership to align testing strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Hands-on experience in software testing and validation.

  • Experience with test automation and performance testing and the management of testing resources who perform those functions

  • Proven experience leading IT testing teams and managing offshore resources.

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing or highly regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with compliance standards (21 CFR Part 820, GxP, CSV) and IQ/OQ/PQ testing protocols for validated systems.

  • Experience with ERP systems, SaaS applications, and manufacturing applications.

  • Exposure to automation and performance testing tools.

  • Experience implementing CSA frameworks.

Our total rewards program is designed to attract, retain, and motivate associates to contribute to Integer’s success. Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
