Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Collaboration with IT Teams and Senior Management: Work to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of IT components and align IT strategies with business objectives and goals. • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Encourage the team to stay updated on the latest trends and tools in IT, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Cross-Functional Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business needs. • Culture Driver: Foster a positive and innovative IT culture that aligns with organizational values, promotes continuous learning, and encourages collaboration across teams and departments. • Effective Communication with Stakeholders: Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions. • Execution Focus: Emphasize day-to-day product management tasks and delivery, ensuring that goals and timelines are met. • Operational Efficiency Management: Ensure that processes are followed and issues are resolved to meet stated SLAs, driving continuous operational improvements. • Performance Management: Implement and utilize the enterprise-wide performance management system to set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct timely performance reviews for team members, fostering a supportive environment for individual growth and team success. • Project Execution and Methodology: Apply Agile and Waterfall approaches to balance flexible, iterative development with structured planning and documentation, and implement scrum practices for adaptable delivery with clear milestones and reporting. • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks within IT projects and operations, implementing basic mitigation strategies to minimize impact on team deliverables. • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services. • Team Support and Development: Directly manage a team of subject matter experts, supporting their development and acting as a technical resource to resolve complex issues. • Technical Leadership and Guidance: Provide hands-on guidance to the team, ensuring best practices are followed and maintaining technical excellence. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned, which align with our organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant experience. Preferred Certification(s): Any relevant IT Certification. Experience: 5+ years of relevant and practical experience, preferably in IT management or a related role, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams. Special Skills: • People Leadership Development: Transition from an individual contributor role to a people leadership position, focusing on developing and mentoring team members to foster their growth and success within the organization. • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrate foundational leadership and team management skills, guiding and supporting team members to achieve their tasks while encouraging collaboration and professional growth. • Team Member Support and Empowerment: Actively support team members by identifying and creating opportunities for skill development, cross-functional exposure, and career advancement, ensuring their success and alignment with organizational goals. • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Exhibit strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, effectively addressing challenges and making informed decisions under pressure. Resolve routine issues independently, escalating complex problems to senior management when necessary. • IT Project Management: Possess basic proficiency in IT project management methodologies and tools, supporting the planning and execution of projects under the guidance of senior leaders. • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff and facilitating clear understanding across the team.
