A Day in the Life:

The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for maintaining the technology infrastructure for both corporate and retail entities of the Tory Burch business in Japan.
This role ensures the stability and efficiency of IT operations across offices and stores, providing effective desktop support and managing external IT vendors.

You’ll collaborate with the US and APAC Tech Infrastructure and Security teams to implement, support, and maintain a robust technology environment.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong technology mindset and excellent communication skills to effectively partner with both business and store teams.
 

• Implement and maintain the core network infrastructure supporting corporate offices and retail stores across Japan

• Ensure smooth and secure IT operations, including:

  • Security compliance

  • Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)

  • Regular maintenance

• Provide efficient desktop and mobile device support to all Tory Burch users in Japan, ensuring hardware and software are up to date

• Lead New Store Opening (NSO) projects, overseeing:

  • Budgeting

  • Procurement

  • Installation

  • Timely service delivery

• Partner with corporate functions to deliver technology projects as required

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for:

  • Network infrastructure

  • Active Directory (AD)

  • Microsoft Office 365

  • Mobile, security, communications, and AV solutions

• Oversee and manage third-party vendors providing helpdesk and application support

• Monitor and report on system performance and operational metrics to ensure service availability and drive improvements

• Responsible for annual IT budget planning, including capital and expense tracking against approved plans

To Land This Role:

EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
-Around 10 years overall experience in IT infrastructure services, of which 5+ years as IT Manager, in MNC or similar organization.
-Practical hands on experience in Network, Servers, Desktop, MS office 365, Active Directory, Cloud, Mobile, Communication Technology. Be SME in at least three of the above areas.
-Industry certification required for technology or engineering discipline. Understanding and experience with retail operation an advantage.
-Strong relationship and experience with service providers in the region.
-Strong leadership skills to effectively mentor and motivate high performing team of employees, contractors and agencies with ability to drive change
-Fluent in English and Japanese. Excellent communicator, good presentation skills -A self-starter style who enjoys technical challenges and embraces new opportunities
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
