About this opportunity:
Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) is one of Ericsson's most strategic technology investments, combining advanced wireless communications with sensing capabilities that will help define the evolution toward 6G. As part of the new ISAC System Verification organization within EU RCE SPS, we are building a multi-TA verification capability from the ground up to ensure the quality, performance, and customer readiness of this next-generation product portfolio.
This is a unique opportunity to join a team that is establishing the verification foundations for a new market segment. You will help shape test strategy, quality governance, automation, and validation methodologies while working closely with systemization, requirements, development, and product leadership teams. The organization embraces modern engineering practices including AI-enabled verification, CI/CD integration, and sustainable long-term test solutions designed for both current ISAC products and future 6G evolution.
What you will do:
- Define, drive, and continuously evolve the overall test strategy for the ISAC System Verification organization.
- Lead test management activities across multiple quality areas and verification domains.
- Establish quality objectives, test coverage models, and verification metrics that provide clear visibility of product readiness.
- Work closely with systemization, requirements, feature development, and verification teams to ensure effective end-to-end validation.
- Drive the adoption of innovative verification methodologies, including AI-assisted testing, intelligent test selection, automation, and data-driven quality analysis.,
- Support the introduction of continuous validation and CI/CD-integrated verification flows that improve speed, quality, and predictability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Product Development Groups, System Management, Feature Integration, release and external organizations.
- Monitor and communicate quality indicators, risk assessments, verification status, and readiness decisions to leadership teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve verification efficiency, test automation, environment utilization, and release confidence.

The skills you will bring:
- B.Sc./B.Eng. in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in Test Management, System Verification, Product Verification, or Quality Assurance leadership.
- Strong understanding of telecom systems, wireless technologies, Cloud RAN, RAN, CI/CD, or related domains.
- Experience defining and executing test strategies for complex and distributed software systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
- Experience using quality metrics, test coverage analysis, defect trends, and risk-based testing approaches to drive decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and introduce improvements in methodologies, tools, and ways of working.
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers and technical leaders.
Additional Qualifications Considered an Asset
- Knowledge of sensing technologies, radio systems, or advanced wireless solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD automation frameworks and digital verification flows.
- Experience using AI or machine learning technologies to improve engineering productivity and quality processes.

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
• Ottawa: $136,000CAD - $178,500CAD
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two-times annual base pay at no cost, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, at least 3personal days, minimum 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
