Job Description:
- Lead and mentor a team of FPGA IP design engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence
- Drive the architecture, design, verification, and implementation of soft IP cores for FPGA platform
- Module-level IP design contributor with system-level expertise
- Collaborate with product management, hardware, and software teams to define IP requirements and specifications
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution to meet delivery timelines and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IP design and verification
- Provide technical guidance and resolve complex design challenges
- Support customer engagements, including technical presentations and issue resolution
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BSEE/ MSEE under Electronics or Electronics/ Telecommunications Engineering department
- 15+ years relevant digital IP/SoC Design experience
Required Skills
- Proficiency in RTL design skills with Verilog, VHDL and System Verilog hardware coding languages
- Deep understanding of digital design principles, synthesis, timing analysis, and verification methodologies
- Expert user of different tools for the development of IP such as synthesis, simulation, linting, CDC, etc.
- Typically, responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other Engineers
- Understand Standard Specifications/ the functional specifications/ feature enhancements for the product and create micro-architecture and detailed design for the IP cores in protocol areas such as AMBA (AMBA2, AXI)/ SD/eMMC/DDR/PCIe/Ethernet/ MIPI/ DSPs – FFT, FIR and Avionics – 1553
- Experience working on high-speed protocols such as Ethernet, JESD, PCIe, DDR, USB, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with scripting languages (TCL, Python, etc.) is a plus
