Job Description:

• Lead and mentor a team of FPGA IP design engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence
• Drive the architecture, design, verification, and implementation of soft IP cores for FPGA platform
• Module-level IP design contributor with system-level expertise
• Collaborate with product management, hardware, and software teams to define IP requirements and specifications
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution to meet delivery timelines and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IP design and verification
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex design challenges
• Support customer engagements, including technical presentations and issue resolution

Requirements/Qualifications:

• BSEE/ MSEE under Electronics or Electronics/ Telecommunications Engineering department
• 15+ years relevant digital IP/SoC Design experience

Required Skills

• Proficiency in RTL design skills with Verilog, VHDL and System Verilog hardware coding languages
• Deep understanding of digital design principles, synthesis, timing analysis, and verification methodologies
• Expert user of different tools for the development of IP such as synthesis, simulation, linting, CDC, etc.
• Typically, responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other Engineers
• Understand Standard Specifications/ the functional specifications/ feature enhancements for the product and create micro-architecture and detailed design for the IP cores in protocol areas such as AMBA (AMBA2, AXI)/ SD/eMMC/DDR/PCIe/Ethernet/ MIPI/ DSPs – FFT, FIR and Avionics – 1553
• Experience working on high-speed protocols such as Ethernet, JESD, PCIe, DDR, USB, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with scripting languages (TCL, Python, etc.) is a plus
