Role OverviewWe are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our India-based team as an International Accounting Manager. The role will support IFRS and US GAAP reporting, technical accounting, international audits, and global accounting activities. You will work with local accounting teams across multiple jurisdictions, global finance stakeholders, and external audit firms.
What We’re Looking for- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and an excellent understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience working with external audit firms and managing audit processes.
- Experience preparing audit working papers, technical accounting documentation, and financial reporting support.
- Strong understanding of month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience working with international entities or multinational organisations.
- Ability to understand and apply local GAAP and statutory requirements across different jurisdictions.
- Ability to identify differences between local GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP, and group reporting requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex accounting matters clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and ownership of deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during audit and reporting periods.
- Genuine interest in technical accounting and complex accounting matters.
- Experience with a Big Four or leading audit firm.
- Experience in global statutory reporting or a technical accounting function.
- Experience with Workiva.
- Practical experience applying both IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience with NetSuite or other enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience supporting accounting transformation, automation, or process improvement initiatives.
