LexisNexis Legal & Professional, which serves customers in more than 150 countries with 11,800 employees worldwide, is part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. Our company has been a long-time leader in deploying AI and advanced technologies to the legal market to improve productivity and transform the overall business and practice of law, deploying ethical and powerful generative AI solutions with a flexible, multi-model approach that prioritizes using the best model from today’s top model creators for each individual legal use case.

About the Role:

The Manager, Internal Comms, Content & Comms Channels is a critical member of the Corporate Communications team, supporting global internal communications across LNLP. This role owns the platforms, content production processes, and communication channels that connect employees to the business every day.

Working closely with HR, Finance, Legal, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will lead the development, management, and optimization of internal communications platforms and content experiences. You will leverage AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, accelerate content creation, enhance personalization, and drive data-informed communications strategies.

Success in this role requires a combination of communications expertise, digital platform knowledge, editorial excellence, operational discipline, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a global organization. This position serves as a trusted advisor and operational leader, ensuring communications are delivered effectively, consistently, and on a scale.

Responsibilities:

This role is the operational and editorial backbone of internal communications, owning the platforms, content, and digital spaces that employees rely on every day, and setting the standards that make everything work better.

Communications Platforms & Operations

  • Own and administer the internal email communications platform — managing configuration, templates, scheduling, and troubleshooting; use AI to evaluate communications performance, analyze audience engagement, and inform how future sends are structured and targeted
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the email platform vendor, coordinating updates and escalating issues as needed; provide training and support to internal users as needed
  • Lead the expansion and optimization of Microsoft Viva tools — with a focus on growing Viva Engage adoption and exploring the broader Viva suite to deepen employee connection, improve reach, and enhance the digital employee experience; familiarity with Amplify preferred.
  • Work with internal users to maximize adoption and potential offered by tools; continuously evaluating how AI-powered features within these platforms can extend impact and drive smarter communications.
  • Coordinate with RELX internal communications on shared initiatives, enterprise-wide programs, aligned messaging, and evolving comms tools and platforms.
  • Co-own and manage the channel execution and logistics for the bimonthly Manager Communications program — building and sending supporting emails, publishing to Viva Engage, coordinating the optional Teams session, and ensuring consistent, on-time delivery every cycle

Intranet & Digital Content

  • Own the SharePoint-based intranet experience, including content strategy, governance, architecture, user experience, and editorial standards.
  • Establish best practices, templates, and publishing standards across internal communication channels.
  • Maintain and enhance assigned corporate web properties and internal digital communication spaces.
  • Ensure content remains accurate, relevant, accessible, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Content Production & Editorial

  • Create, edit, and publish internal communications across multiple formats including emails, intranet content, leadership communications, digital signage, newsletters, and employee engagement campaigns.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools throughout the content development process to improve quality, consistency, speed, and impact.
  • Apply strong editorial judgment to simplify complex information and create engaging employee-facing content.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic initiatives into compelling communications.

Team Collaboration & Continuity

  • Work closely with comms teammates to maintain consistent processes, shared standards, and aligned ways of working — including a clear understanding of routing, approval workflows, and how communications move from draft to send.

  • Provide comms support for HR, Finance, and Legal, supporting HR programs, benefits, and talent initiatives, translating Finance content into clear messaging for a broad employee audience, and backing compliance and rule of law communications. Use AI to handle drafting volume, tailor messages for a global workforce, and keep tone and accuracy consistent.

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Employee Communications, Public Relations, or a related field within a mid-sized or large organization.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior leaders, executives, and global stakeholders.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including:

-SharePoint

-Microsoft Teams

-Viva Engage

-Microsoft Viva Suite
