As a leader of the Homebody services team, the Manager of Insurance Services plays a critical role in driving retention, increasing agency revenue, and executing the department's strategic vision. Reporting directly to the Director of Insurance Agency, this position oversees the management, production, and development of a team of Insurance Agents. The Manager will supervise the service team of CSRs, ensuring they meet key performance indicators (KPIs), complete strategic projects, and actively engage in all stages of the employee lifecycle.
The Manager will also support the Homebody product by collaborating with development teams, corresponding with product owners, and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure its success. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, performance-driven, and excels in employee development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop team to consistently achieve their goals.
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including hiring, training, developing, and coaching team members; hold them accountable for meeting their objectives and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages information sharing and mutual respect among insurance team members.
- Oversee and manage licensing, designations, and continuing education (CE) requirements for both yourself and the team.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Entrata and Homebody products to both internal teams and external partners.
- Assist the Dir, Insurance Agency, and Head of Insurance with strategic planning, process optimization, and department growth initiatives.
- Actively promote the Homebody product through client interactions and support.
- Set and exceed customer service expectations, delivering exceptional service.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, automate processes, and enhance the Homebody product across the department.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to maintain high service standards.
- Coordinate with other departments on projects that impact the success of Homebody.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire team members to meet and exceed goals.
- 1+ years of insurance industry experience.

- Reliable and responsible team player who builds positive relationships and earns respect.
- Demonstrated experience driving revenue, with a deep understanding of sales tactics and systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on finding solutions to complex challenges.
