KPMG’s Infrastructure Deal Advisory team support clients with high-value strategic and financial decisions in the context of infrastructure and large-scale capital investment. - Our Auckland Infrastructure Deal Advisory team is looking for exceptional candidates at Manager level.

- The Infrastructure Deal Advisory team is part of our wider Deal Advisory team, sitting alongside Corporate Finance, M&A and financial due diligence professionals. We are looking for individuals who can be part of our Infrastructure team, but have the accounting/finance background to be able to work across the wider Deal Advisory team.

Day to day you will:
- Provide in-depth advice on the strategic, economic, financial, and commercial issues driving infrastructure and large-scale capital investment initiatives.
- Work across various sectors including transport, water, power and utilities, urban development, aviation and social infrastructure.
- Undertake a variety of tasks which will include, developing investment proposals, developing funding and financing solutions, financial modelling, commercial structuring, commercial negotiation, procurement and transaction execution.
- Work with both public and private sector clients and contribute to the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities, building networks and relationships, and promoting the services of KPMG as a whole.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Experience in an advisory or delivery role within a professional services firm or investment bank and/or experience in a government or construction sector environment (not essential).
- Passion for infrastructure and connected communities to develop and deliver high-quality projects.
- A curious mind, an aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.
- A track record of working collaboratively in a team and positively contributing to a fun and supportive team culture.
- Ideally a CA or CFA, with financial modelling experience.
- Experience working in Excel and/or PowerBI.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey strategic and financial analysis in a simple and accessible way.
- Commercial acumen, along with a high level of integrity.
- A self-starter and proactive working style with the ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Ability to manage deliverables, timelines and budget, coordinate inputs and outputs from multiple stakeholders, and provision of guidance and support to team members.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of client-centred services.
