About your team
Be part of our growing IT Infrastructure Services team responsible for all aspects of our company’s technical infrastructure including network, on-premise hosted servers as well as our cloud platform infrastructure. The team is looking after infrastructure aspects in various different projects as well as in the day2day operation of FFB Technology platform.
We work closely with internal development teams as well as with different external IT service providers, delivering platform and connectivity services, tailored to FFBs needs
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Manager Infrastructure Services (m/f/d) with a strong focus on network aspects who is passionate to drive network related topics and platform infrastructure projects.
About your role
- Drive network and platform aspects within various projects, including design and migration
- Ensure adherence to quality and security standards within the network, server and cloud environments
- Work closely with network engineers, cloud architects, and DevOps teams and ensure infrastructure projects align with banking regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot network and platform related issues
- Document IT infrastructure and project processes
- Continuously work on the improvement of our internal procedures and processes
- Hybrid working atmosphere (minimum of 2 days per week in office)
About you
- Profund experience with IT infrastructure with a strong focus on the network layer network
- Professional experience in network deployment or network administration and strong understanding of network concepts (LAN/WAN, VLAN, switching, routing, firewalls, load balancers)
- Initial experience and/or willingness to explore other infrastructure topics (i.e. virtualization, OS, storage, ...)
- Knowledge of network protocols and security technologies
- Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with container technology (e.g. docker, podman) will be a plus
- Excellent team player with a conscientious approach
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Passion for banking or other financial service area
