Job Summary:

As the Infrastructure & Operations Manager, you will be accountable for reliable, secure, supportable infrastructure and operational execution across servers, multi-cloud platforms, backup/recovery, core services, DevOps/platform operations, and multi-site production technology dependencies.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead overall IT systems and DevOps engineers; manage priorities, staffing, performance, on call/escalation, and development.
  • Own infrastructure availability, capacity, patching, backup/recovery, monitoring, lifecycle, cloud operations, and technical debt reduction.
  • Coordinate major incidents, root-cause analysis, changes, maintenance windows, and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Ensure infrastructure controls satisfy security and SOC 2 requirements, including access, logging, vulnerability, change, backup, and evidence expectations.
  • Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, inventory, standards, dependencies, and recovery documentation.
  • Manage infrastructure/cloud vendors, licensing, costs, and service performance.
  • Partners with production/business teams to schedule changes and minimize operational disruption.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge with infrastructure operations
  • Advanced knowledge with people leadership/mentorship, cloud/server/virtualization breadth, backup/DR and resilience, incident/change/problem management, and vendor/cost management
  • Demonstrate ownership, sound judgment, integrity, and accountability
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Balance security, reliability, cost, user experience, and production requirements
  • Follow change, documentation, escalation, and risk-management standards
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams and contribute to continuous improvement

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of related infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology operations experience; OR
  • Associate degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology operations experience.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising technical staff, projects, vendors, or operational priorities.
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, backup/recovery, monitoring, incident response, change management, and security standards.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field, plus five years of related infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology operations experience
  • Alternatively, an associate degree in a related field plus eight years of related infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology operations experience
  • Experience leading or supervising technical staff, projects, vendors, or operational priorities
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, backup and recovery, monitoring, incident response, change management, and security standards
