As the Manager of Inertial Systems at MicroStrain, the candidate will lead a team of direct reports, with a focus on MicroStrain’s inertial sensing product line. The team’s responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum of critical tasks:
New Product Introduction (NPI): The candidate will spearhead the successful launch of new products, ensuring seamless integration into MicroStrain’s ecosystem. Their strategic vision will drive MicroStrain’s innovation forward.
Sustaining Engineering Support: The candidate and their team will collaborate closely with the factory, providing guidance on engineering activities related to the existing inertial product lineup.
Next-Generation Product Development: As the team leader, the candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping MicroStrain’s future. They will actively explore and integrate emerging technologies, enhancing the company’s core focus areas—such as robotics and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering, product management, or a related role.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strong understanding of inertial sensing technologies and applications.
