Job Description

Are you ready to drive strategic impact by leading financial planning and procurement initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence? CHEP is looking for a Manager, Indirect Procurement & NHS CapEx in Atlanta, GA or Orlando, FL.
In this role you’ll be a key partner to senior leadership, providing critical insights through budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies. Collaborate across functions to enhance profitability, streamline indirect spend, and ensure capital investments align with organizational goals.
This role provides dedicated financial leadership and analytical support for Indirect Procurement and Non-Hire Stock (NHS) Capital Expenditures across North America. It ensures investment quality, governance compliance, and strategic enablement for ~$200M+ in annual spend.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Be a strategic partner to the regional business leaders to deliver actionable financial insights, providing recommendations to improve business performance and optimize decision making
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models, including scenario analysis and business case development, to support data-driven decision-making and drive business performance improvements.
  • Provide financial leadership on strategic projects, such as cost optimization, supply chain initiatives, and capital investments, ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers, presenting actionable insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and operational teams to improve profitability, drive cost efficiencies, and meet financial objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies in the preparation and review of financial statements.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure and improve financial and operational performance
     

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Lead financial modeling, ROI analysis, and stakeholder alignment for ~250 procurement and ~200 CapEx business cases annually.
  • Provide buy-vs-lease analysis, cash flow, and other financial modeling.
  • Support strategic initiatives including electrification, Zero Harm, EOL QC, and Top Sites.
  • Partner with project teams to validate procurement, transport, and operations benefits, risk-weight assumptions, and prepare board-ready investment cases.
  • Restore and maintain compliance with Brambles PIR (post investment review) policy
  • Drive governance improvements across procurement workflows and supplier contract approvals.
  • Enable executive-ready engagement by maintaining deep knowledge of active investments and strategic priorities.

Experience – What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar data-driven field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of analytical business partner experience, preferably in complex multinational businesses within Finance or similar roles
  • Experience with financial modeling, investment governance, and stakeholder engagement
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and intermediate PowerBI skills required
  • Building and preparation of scorecards, dashboards, and management reporting desirable
  • Demonstrated comfort with interpreting and presenting output to executive leaders, both technical and non-technical
  • Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, and capital modeling techniques preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Well-developed use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Proven experience in financial business partnership and financial stewardship
  • Effectiveness in managing cross functional stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, quantitative analysis and how to use financial concepts to drive decisions
  • Experience in financial and/or supply chain data analysis tools such as: SAP/Business Warehouse, Business Objects/Power BI
