The Manager, Indirect Channel Management (ICM) is responsible for leading the execution of indirect channel operations across Southern Europe with a focus on Spain and Portugal, ensuring the consistent implementation of global ICM standards and the effective management of partner performance. The role works closely with local leadership and commercial teams to translate strategy into actionable plans, drive operational discipline, and deliver measurable results within a strong compliance framework.
As a member of the SITE Committee Iberia and a Division’s extended EMEA Leadership Team, the ICM Manager also serves as the Division’s ICM Partner, driving executional alignment, operational performance, and continuous improvement across the indirect channel landscape.

Essential duties & responsibilities:
Process Management & Stakeholder Alignment
- Hold full accountability for the end-to-end indirect channel processes and lifecycle management within IC Hub (onboarding, contracting, and ongoing monitoring), ensuring successful delivery of outcomes while coordinating closely with the ICM Operations SE team.
- Take responsibility for driving alignment among leadership teams, leading and facilitating leadership forums and resolving complex or conflicting situations to ensure adoption of global ICM standards and alignment with enterprise-wide, mid- to long-term strategic priorities.
- Be accountable for elevating the strategic and operational standards of IC Sponsors, actively fostering a culture of commercial and functional excellence through structured training programs, coaching, and continuous support to business leaders and key stakeholders across the region.
- Own the planning, execution, and outcomes of Partnership Reviews across the territory, ensuring that insights and analysis generated enable informed decision-making, support growth, and proactively mitigate risk.
- Assume responsibility as the ICM business partner for the EMEA Division, driving analysis and optimization of the indirect commercial organization to improve financial efficiency and reduce operational risk, in close collaboration with local commercial ICM counterparts.
Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
- Maintain direct accountability for minimizing compliance risk, ensuring the consistent implementation and enforcement of company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the implementation and effectiveness of governance frameworks, including processes, policies, systems, and controls that mitigate risk and protect the business at the division level.
- Take responsibility for identifying, escalating, and resolving ICM-related risks and issues, ensuring adherence to globally established indirect channel management standards.
- Own the coordination and execution of CMA-related activities and investigations, partnering with stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and transparent outcomes.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for modelling behaviors aligned with Stryker’s core values, ensuring actions consistently reflect the company mission and ethical standards.
Representation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Take ownership of strengthening awareness and credibility of the Indirect Channel Management function, ensuring consistent and effective representation across leadership engagements.
- Serve as the accountable representative and spokesperson for the Indirect Channel function within the Sub-Region, safeguarding the company’s reputation and strengthening relationships with customers and professional services organizations.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration outcomes by partnering with commercial, finance, legal, regulatory, quality, and compliance leaders to ensure understanding, adoption, and execution of ICM standards and practices.
Revenue Growth & Channel Optimization
- Be accountable for delivering sustainable revenue and profit growth across the Sub Region mainly focusing on Spain and Portugal business units through the implementation of best-in-class indirect channel management strategies.
- Take responsibility for enabling commercial success, supporting teams in identifying and optimizing new indirect channel opportunities, achieving business targets, and managing profitability across assigned divisions.
- Own the selection, development, and oversight of the indirect channel network, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance standards, and long-term growth priorities.
- Maintain responsibility for performance oversight of indirect channel partners, ensuring delivery against agreed targets while maintaining full compliance with corporate standards.
- Lead accountability for integrating indirect channels during M&A activities, ensuring seamless alignment with governance requirements, operational standards, and commercial objectives.
Education & special trainings:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with an emphasis in business management, finance, marketing or relevant discipline required.
Qualifications & experience:
- Must have 8+ years related professional experience.
- Must have fluent English and Spanish. Ability to speak Portuguese is and advantage.
- Sales, marketing, sales operations, compliance experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Must be PC literate with experience working with Microsoft Office products.
- Must possess valid driver license in the state of residence.
