As the Manager, Incentive Planning, you will be responsible for designing and managing incentive programs that drive sales, minimize costs, and enhance customer loyalty. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our incentive strategies align with our business objectives and market conditions.
The Role
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in incentive planning
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to optimize incentive offerings and maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with Sales, Financial Services, Marketing, Finance, and Product Marketing to ensure incentive programs are aligned with corporate goals and product launch strategies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive incentive programs that balance market competitiveness, costs, and sales results; including presentation materials for both C-Level and retail staff alike.
- Oversee the creation and standardization of all incentive program documentation to be distributed to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of incentive programs, using data-driven insights to make adjustments and improve effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on incentive program performance and key performance indicators for senior management on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
- Manage the budget for incentive programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Oversee reporting and payout of sales commission program.
- Manage and develop direct report.
- Prepare any ad hoc reports as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in incentive planning, financial services, sales operations, or related roles within the automotive industry.
- Deep understanding of all aspects of automotive finance
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective incentive programs that drive sales and profitability.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Tableau
- Familiarity w/ PIN+, S&P Global, MotorIntelligence, ALG
