Engages with executive level suppliers to direct the business relationship between the assigned suppliers and the company to achieve the financial performance and return of assigned product lines.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Leads and directs the global supplier business management tea and, solutions architects responsible for project management, development and implementation of supplier based marketing and strategy plans designed to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Provides leadership and vision to the development of new services that combines supplier resources and capabilities with the company's resources and capabilities, thus creating a unique value proposition.
  • Manages and oversees research project for highly complex industry and client problems, issues, and environments to explore alternatives, propose new practice offerings, and assess business risks.
  • Evaluates new and emerging technologies for use with current practice offerings.
  • Aligns company goals and objectives with the supplier, utilizing effective executive level communication to influence supplier organization both vertically and horizontally to ensure mutual goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Works closely with internal and key supplier leadership to ensure effective leveraging of these relationships to positively impact opportunities for business success.
  • Identifies and drives new supplier opportunities with particular emphasis on the development of new services that blend unique supplier resource/capability along with the company's service/capability to create a value proposition.
  • Conducts business reviews with supplier and internal management to maintain relationships and identify key issues.
  • Delivers strategic direction to the supplier business planning and implementation process.
  • Defines the focus on the interrelated and expanding technology solutions offerings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Interprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that affect direct reports and the workflow of the team/department. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Contributes to budget development and performance standards of department and direct reports.
  • Assignments are defined in the form of objectives. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, business plans and independent judgment.
  • Collaborates with team(s), customers/ clients, functional peer group managers and occasionally senior management. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives.
  • Decisions may have impact on work processes and outcomes. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in serious delays and considerable expenditures of additional time, people and/or financial resources.

Work Experience:

  • Typically 6+ years including 2+ years of supervisory experience

Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
