ABOUT THE ROLE
If you are a hands-on campaign strategist who loves translating big-picture priorities into well-executed, multi-channel campaigns, this role is for you.
As part of Elsevier's Research Marketing organization serving the Academic & Government (A&G) market, the Senior Manager for Global Campaigns owns the strategy and performance of campaigns for priority A&G business areas and portfolio initiatives. You will act as a primary liaison and partner for Audience and Field teams, turning briefs into clear, actionable plans and partnering with Field to support aligned global and local campaign activation. You will track campaign performance across awareness, sales, and renewal, surfacing insights that improve campaigns and GTM effectiveness. This is a role for a confident, collaborative operator who thrives in a cross-functional environment, ready to guide and support colleagues while driving end-to-end campaign delivery and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own end-to-end campaign delivery for priority business areas and portfolio initiatives
- Act as primary liaison for Audience and Field teams, ensuring briefs are clear, aligned, and translated into actionable execution plans
- Drive campaign strategy and execution support for regional campaigns
- Coordinate cross-functionally across Content, Creative, and execution teams
- Lead campaign performance tracking, optimization, and insight sharing for priority business areas and portfolio initiatives
- Reports into Director of Global Campaigns
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
- Lead or partner on the development of campaign strategies based on briefs from Audience and/or Field
- Integrate global priorities and regional needs into cohesive campaign approaches
- Manage campaign briefing, ensuring inputs are clear, aligned, and actionable
- Coordinate creative and asset development with Content and Creative teams
- Translate campaign strategy into localized execution with Field teams
- Lead end-to-end campaign delivery and optimization
- Share performance insights with Audience, Field, and Product teams
- Works with peers across Demand & Lifecycle Marketing to ensure cohesiveness and coordination across multiple campaigns in market
PROFILE & EXPERIENCE
- Strong experience in B2B campaign or demand generation marketing
- Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaign execution and optimization
- Strong stakeholder management across Audience, Field, and Marketing teams
- Confident cross-functional operator who can guide and support junior colleagues
