What You Will Get To Do

  • Accountable for sales, standard margins and operating income for the Independent Channel (IC) National Accounts 
  • Development of sales strategies required to achieve aggressive growth plans for accounts
  • Set priorities for all people development, operations, and sales for IC National Account Managers (NAMs) and Branch Coverage Representatives (BCRs).
  • Oversee the BCR team to support IC NAMs in execution of national sales strategy.
  • Manage and guide team to create and execute sell-in strategies & sell through programs for specific regional and national IC accounts
  • Present by-monthly, account base business plans to Senior Sales and Marketing teams
  • Work with NAMs in preparing and presenting annual line reviews for each business
  • Assist team in proactively planning account promotions, ad activity, and role out initiatives
  • Prepare and communicate monthly and quarterly reviews with management
  • Designs, implements, and manages sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes
  • Measure team impact vs. plan and other team targets specified by management
  • Review sales data to forecast, coach, and identify opportunities for improvement with team
  • Ensure the team is provided with or has access to product training, allowing them to be our product champions in the field
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the IC marketplace
  • Establish strong working relationships with US teams and keep informed on pricing and programs

Who You Are

  • College or University graduate
  • 7+ years’ experience in Sales/Marketing with a record of demonstrated achievement and leadership
  • Ability to think strategically and fully understand the long-range implications of business decisions
  • Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking
  • Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment
  • Proven high ethical standards and professional integrity
  • Strong leadership and people management skills through supervising, providing feedback and mentoring
  • Creativity and strategic thinker
  • Strong communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of basic financial concepts
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Teams skills
