Manager, IBD Sales and Account Analytics
About the role:
Join Takeda as a Manager, IBD Sales and Account Analytics where you will bring a consultative approach to working with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to analyze data and synthesize actionable insights. You will also become a trusted resource within the GIBU for sales and account analytics and insights, while gaining greater exposure as the organization grows.
How you will contribute:
- Functions as an internal partner and liaison between the IBD Analytics and Sales, KAM, Pricing, Forecasting and/or Managed Markets teams.
- Coordinates with cross-functional partners to build and maintain account hierarchies that link HCPs to accounts and accounts to parents
- Adds own perspective and synthesizes groups' insights into actionable reports focusing on the "why" and "actionability" behind the data
- Spearheads initiatives that provide insights into industry specific classes of trade such as Alternative Sites of Care (ASOCs), Physician Group Practices (PGPs), Hospitals and Public Health Service (PHS) entities
- Builds and maintains a learning and continuous-development environment to ensure employee engagement and growth
- Manages projects from initiation to implementation, including the ability to track timelines and due dates for key deliverables.
- Leverages skills in data analytics and storytelling to "connect the dots" and produce insightful, clear, creative, actionable and continuously improving deliverables to the Sales and Account teams and other key stakeholders across the IBD franchise.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA or BS in a relevant analytical field such as statistics, informatics, or analytics
- 3+ years experience in a related field/quantitative analytical experience
- Prior consulting experience
- Experience with vendor management
- Experience performing field-based analytics (sales and/or account) as well as Master Data Management (MDM)
- Experience with Third Party Industry Commercial data sets required e.g., Komodo, IQVIA/IMS, SHA/Symphony Health, Patient Services and Specialty Pharmacy data
- Experience working with patient level claims/data sources (e.g., IQVIA/IMS, SHA)
- Advanced knowledge in coding techniques in SQL, Python, R or SAS, comfort with automation of reporting
Preferred:
- MBA with a focus on Healthcare or Master's in Data Analytics/Informatic preferred
- Pharmaceutical analytics experience required, experience in the Autoimmune/IBD space
- Experience performing field-based analytics (sales and/or account) as well as Master Data Management (MDM)
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of integrated marketing, sales and CRM disciplines (including primary research, segmentation, and targeting)

U.S. Base Salary Range:
108,500.00 - 170,500.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
