You will be a part of the Electronics & Software Management Team for the Construction Division. As part of the E&S management team, you and your team will be responsible for all electronic and electrical development within construction, whether the development is internal or external. You report directly to the Director of Electronics and Software.
We're focused on creating the technology of the future, and we need your leadership to help the hardware engineering team get there.
The job as Manager, Hardware Engineering.
Main responsibility is to manage and lead your team. You will also be the main responsible for all R&D when it comes to Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and our interaction with them. You also take general responsibility towards the E&S management team; propose changes of work methods and processes, as well as prioritizations needed when it comes to competence and resources.

Manage all E&S electronic and electrical development work for Construction

Develop and maintain development WoW and processes for the hardware Engineering team.

Set and follow up on HW resource and budget.

Build and maintain a close-knit, highly professional team

Make sure that the team has the correct resources and technical know-how.

Set-up and maintain external partners for development.
As a Manager for the Hardware Engineering team you will also coordinate with the other parts of E&S, such as SW, Test, systems engineering and project management. You raise issues and priorities to E&S MGM when needed. Together with Sourcing, you will select relevant EMSs and WoW with those partners.
Location: Jonsered, just outside of Gothenburg.

Who are you?
We are seeking an experienced leader who is dedicated to inspiring the team to achieve excellence.
To excel in this role, you should have a background in electronics design, power electronics, or related fields, coupled with several years of leadership experience.
You are passionate about growing as a leader and thriving in this capacity.
We value self-driven individuals who are adaptable to dynamic environments and open to exploring new ways of working. Fluency in English is, of course, essential.
