Job Title - Manager - Human Resources

The Purpose of This Role

The Manager - HR business partner will work with the Business Leadership Team in driving their workforce strategy in line with the business strategy. This role involves understanding the business, collaborating with key stakeholders across business and other support functions, deploying solutions that empower leaders to build an engaged workforce. It would involve planning and delivery responsibilities around leadership development, organization design and development, career growth and succession plans, talent management practices such as performance reviews, compensation cycles and manager enablement.

This role involves management and coordination of initiatives in support of business unit HR strategy with direction from the central HR team in line with the business needs. The role will also involve seamless execution of programs and activities that ensure and continuously enhance associate experience and talent management practices. Some of the key activities would include:
• Understand the overall business context and objectives
• Consult with leaders and managers on strategic workforce planning and execution
• Support the implementation and execution of programs related to the business unit’s effectiveness
• Provide ongoing consulting support and advise to leaders and managers on both day-to-day and long-term talent topics
• Identify talent needs, risks and gaps; use talent management tools and resources to create and oversee execution of a plan to address these
• Execution of the pay and performance management cycle for business units under their scope
• Partner with business as well as with other HR stakeholders in driving key talent initiatives
• Work with various leaders to drive a culture of meritocracy and transparency
• Design and roll out talent management practices to nurture a high-performing workforce
• Liaison with Employee relations to handle employee grievances
• Partner with other HR functions namely Talent Development, Staffing, Compensation & Benefits, D&I, HR Operations to facilitate seamless delivery of various HR services to associates
• Partner with Line HR counterparts in other global regions to drive the BU talent priorities and actions
• May be accountable for site implementation/integration of HR/BU initiatives for assigned areas of responsibility
• Ownership of the talent related metrics, analysis and action planning based on the insights

The Skills and Expertise we are looking for

Technical / Behavioral
• Core experience in implementing/executing on workforce strategy
• Ability to influence at senior levels within the organization
• Comfortable with handling and interpreting data and derive insights to support decision making

• Overall 7+ years of experience with 3+ years of experience in implementing the workforce strategy
• MBA with specialization in HR

It is difficult therefore to expect someone to come in with the required subject matter know how.
