JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of senior management, manages the full life cycle recruiting process for openings in all areas of the company. Responsible for workforce planning, working with other areas of HR in succession planning, negotiating contracts with vendors, coordination of contract personnel, developing and managing internship programs, coordination of recruiting materials, and implementing process improvements. Prepares employment and advertising budgets and schedules expenditures. Monitors all hiring metrics to ensure progress toward corporate goals and objectives. Complies with federal, state, and local employment law by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating new requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements and advising senior management on needed actions. Sources, recruits, screens, interviews and recommends external and/or internal candidates for management and executive jobs. May recruit from colleges, technical schools and job fairs. Supports the organization's overall business strategy through effective management of human resources.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the operational and personnel activities of the talent acquisition function of Human Resources and monitors daily work assignments, project plans and development of subordinates. In conjunction with the department’s mission and company vision and direction, oversees and is accountable for meeting the talent acquisition needs of DENSO.
- Develops and secures approval of goals, objectives and measures for the talent acquisition function and ensures they comply with overall division and organization strategy. Communicates and is accountable for goal attainment. Develops, along with department senior management, the short and mid-term strategies for DENSO’s talent acquisition needs. Advises executive management on specific matters and general direction related to talent acquisition planning. Provides input to overall human resources operational strategy outside of direct functional areas of responsibility.

- Supports assigned personnel in developing individual G&O’s and provides coaching, support and assessment to talent. Performs other activities including tracking of time and attendance, associate counseling, scheduling, evaluating work performance and assisting in skill development. Has authority over hiring, discipline and separation decisions for assigned personnel and provides input on pay decisions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational management or related field.
- 10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Demonstrates strong capability to use Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience at an OEM or Tier 1 Supplier.
- Demonstrated experience with positive employee relations, administering discipline and performance improvement.
- Experience with Talent Management processes (e.g. talent review, performance management, succession planning, career development and training).
- Six Sigma certification and/or PDCA experience highly desirable
- Experience working with Oracle

- Advanced knowledge of current employment laws and regulations, including visa and other work authorization requirements in consideration of hiring non-citizen personnel
