The HR Manager is a results-driven HR leader with experience shaping workplace culture, driving employee engagement strategies, and partnering with business leaders to support organizational growth and performance. Proven ability to lead employee relations, conduct compliant workplace investigations, coach leaders through complex personnel matters, and implement HR processes that improve operational effectiveness, compliance, and employee retention. What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a Human Resource Manager for our Miami, FL facility by providing counsel, advice and recommendations related to Human Resources matters to leaders at all levels of the organization.

  • Assist in developing strategies that ensure the availability, quality and capability of Human Resources to achieve business plan objectives.

  • Assist in developing plans for attracting and retaining key talent and ensuring engagement of the workforce.

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team's effort in recruiting, candidate selection, employee and team development, change management, and compensation planning for the client group.

  • Coach, advise and consult with management and employees regarding career development, job performance, disciplinary action, and general employee relations.

  • Provide advanced employee relations support, including conducting and overseeing complex employee relations investigations and ensuring appropriate remedial and prevention actions.

  • Serve as a liaison with the Total Rewards, Learning and Development, and HRTS functional teams in administration of employee benefits, training, compliance programs and HR Information Systems to the client group.

  • Administer policies and procedures for employment, placement, termination and employee transfers; ensure consistent and equitable application of organization policies and procedures.

  • Take appropriate actions to address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and compliant manner.

  • Guide client leaders through a process of developing answers, solutions, and/or strategies to deal fairly, legally and effectively with people-related matters; form a business partnership with senior leadership in daily operations.

  • Lead strategic HR projects and initiatives (e.g., culture change, reorganizations, integrations, operational turnarounds, enterprise transformation) from planning through execution and measurement.

  • Provide guidance and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.

  • Conduct new hire orientation and any other necessary on-boarding activities.

  • Provide administrative support including payroll, benefits, DOT program, record keeping, file maintenance and HRTS entry.

  • Policy administration, compliance reporting (EEOC, AAP, FAA reporting), I-9 administration etc.

  • Carries out other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree is a differentiator.

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Manager in a manufacturing or MRO/aerospace setting.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in partnering with leadership to support culture change/transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.

  • Advanced experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations including fact-finding documentation, recommendation and follow-up implementation.

  • Experienced in Microsoft office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success leading culture change initiatives, preferably in post-acquisition integrations or turnaround situations.
  • Proven experience providing HR business partner support to site leaders, influencing operational decision-making and aligning people strategies with business goals.
  • Experience leading strategic projects and initiatives, including cross-functional change efforts with measurable outcomes.
  • Prior experience with HR analytics, HR Dashboards and leveraging data for initiative-framing and problem-solving. 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, organization, decision making, oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Positive professional presence, strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Previous experience with Oracle Fusion and Dayforce a plus.

  • Language proficiency:  English and Spanish. 

  • HR Certification preferred but not required.
