At Capital Group, our goal is to improve people’s lives through successful investing. We start by investing in you.
The Role

“I can succeed as an HR Strategy & Business Operations Manager at Capital Group.”

As a Manager within our HR Strategy & Business Operations, and HR4HR team, you will collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR-wide practices (across the org / HR function) that align with the CG’s Long-term Strategic Plan and the HR 2031 Strategy.  Your role will involve providing interim HRBP support to various lines of business, offering expert guidance and strategic solutions on talent acquisition, associate development, performance management, associate relations, and organizational design.  You will leverage data analytics to identify and address critical workforce needs, fostering a positive associate experience and driving organizational success. Additional responsibilities may include independently managing varying critical, short-term HR projects, defining clear project requirements, and ensuring the successful execution of assigned projects to deliver strong business outcomes.

To excel in this role, you are a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and proactively implements innovative solutions to capitalize on opportunities. You possess exceptional communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with a variety of HR audiences, key stakeholders, and senior business leaders. You leverage data to generate actionable insights and recommendations. You have a proven track record of successfully juggling multiple priorities while delivering strong results.  As a team-oriented professional, you make decisions that benefit the broader HR function and the organization as a whole. This is an individual contributor role.

“I am the person Capital Group is looking for.”

  • You have 7+ years of HR experience, with a minimum 5 years as a HRBP.

  • You have strong knowledge of HR practices, talent acquisition, associate development, performance management, and organizational design.

  • You are passionate about coaching, supporting, and developing talent, with experience in partnering with business leaders to develop high performing teams, building talent pipelines, and driving associate engagement

  • You are a strategic thought partner who asks insightful questions, proactively shares perspective, and are highly adaptable to changing team environments.

  • You have strong project management experience, leading and implementing large scale HR projects from start to finish.

  • You are very comfortable with data visualization tools, PowerPoint, Excel and working with numbers. Skilled in conducting HR trend analysis with large data sets and turning insights into actionable solutions.

  • You enjoy working in fast-paced environments where critical thinking and proactive teamwork with colleagues around the globe is essential for success.

  • You’re a skilled communicator and thrive in team settings by being authentic, respectful, and engaging.

  • You connect the dots in complex and often ambiguous situations, deriving insights that are critical to advancing organizational goals.

  • This team values your ability to challenge the status quo by improving existing processes and employing different approaches to align HR priorities with business outcomes.

  • Bachelor’s degree required and master’s degree in HR, project management, or related field preferred.

Capital Group Compensation & Benefits Highlights

The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Capital Group and has not been reviewed or approved by Capital Group.

  • Retirement Support Retirement support stands out through an employer-funded contribution equal to about 15% of eligible compensation, adding meaningful long-term value to total rewards. A vesting schedule is referenced, but the core retirement benefit is positioned as unusually rich and frequently highlighted as a differentiator.
  • Strong & Reliable Incentives Incentives are structured around two annual bonuses—one tied to individual performance and another linked to company profitability—creating a predictable bonus framework. In certain senior investment roles, bonus opportunity can be very high relative to base pay, reinforcing the upside for top performers.
  • Inclusive Benefits Coverage Inclusive coverage is emphasized through fertility benefits (including IVF and egg freezing), pregnancy and menopause support, and adoption/surrogacy assistance. These benefits broaden applicability across different life stages and family-building paths.
