Summary
The Manager, Campus Operations is responsible for supporting day-to-day operational performance for assigned hospital departments and/or functional areas. This role partners closely with clinical leadership and operational stakeholders to promote patient flow, workforce efficiency, service excellence, and regulatory readiness. The incumbent supports process improvement initiatives, monitors operational performance metrics, and contributes to planning efforts aligned with Jefferson Health standards and organizational goals.
Job Duties
  • Supports cost control efforts and assists with evaluating operational budget needs; escalates risks and variances to leadership as needed.
  • Collaborates with leadership and key stakeholders to establish facility operational plans aligned with Jefferson priorities related to safety, quality, patient experience, and operational performance.
  • Manages and motivates teams supporting multiple initiatives to achieve shared operational goals while building effective partnerships across stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicates operational issues, supports mitigation planning, and prepares reports and updates for review with leadership
  • Supports implementation and refinement of workflows to streamline operations and address operational barriers and cost drivers.
  • Leads and/or facilitates operational initiatives in partnership with site leadership and key stakeholders across multiple functional areas.
  • Provides data and analysis to support project estimates, including identifying phases, resource needs, timelines, and potential impacts
  • Delivers written and verbal updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes to operational and senior leaders
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with stakeholders to drive alignment, problem-solving, and sustained execution
  • Supports planning for capital requests by identifying operational needs that promote safe care delivery and efficient operations, consistent with Jefferson processes.
  • Participates in evaluation and implementation of operational technology enhancements to improve efficiency and align with organizational standards.
  • Reviews operational data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks, and supports timely corrective action planning.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree Project Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 5 years progressive experience in project management and/or hospital operations and
  • 3 years direct management of large and complex projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Ability to support complex operational initiatives across multiple departments and priorities
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations and cross-functional workflows
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ability to apply project management techniques to maintain alignment, milestones, and deliverables
  • Maintains appropriate confidentiality in working with stakeholders.
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree Project Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 7 years related job experience

Additional Qualifications

    Physical Demands
    Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
