Functional (job responsibilities)

  • Financial Advisory: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to accurately understand clients' risk tolerance, financial objectives, and time horizons to provide tailored recommendations.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) by generating fee-based income through the strategic sale of wealth management products.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on global market trends, interest rate shifts, and regulatory changes to provide proactive and timely advice to clients.
  • Portfolio Growth: Focus on growing the Islamic products through effective relationship management and acquisition of new-to-bank clients.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure all transactions and client interactions strictly adhere to bank policies, internal SOPs, and industry regulations (e.g., PDPA, AMLCFT, and Shariah Governance).

Managerial (team/group responsibilities)

  • Collaborate closely with Branch to align Bumi segment growth strategies with overall bank-level targets and Shariah governance parameters.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and mobilize virtual or direct project teams across regions to execute localized Bumi market acquisition strategies, fostering a high-performance, results- driven culture.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the engines within the network to work towards achieving their respective Growth Segment KRA, including broad business exposure and in actively marketing for new business clients through referrals (from customers / panel solicitors / branches) and selective cold calls to achieve Islamic loans and deposit growth.
  • Plan, strategize and spearhead with all BCs network, SME & CMB (BCB) and BWD PVPB (WM) sales and marketing programmes / activities to increase Growth Segment Strategy awareness, increase Community Presence and expand the Growth Segment business within the network.
  • Assist CGM/ RCGM to identify business and community potential for all BCs within the network.
  • In charge of capability building/ training / guidance to respective sales specialist within network and ensure adequately trained and supported in their area of work to drive Growth Segment Strategy Relieving Community General Manager (CGM) when necessary, in terms of providing strategic support, advisory guidance, and timely response management.

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)

  • Building and maintaining close relationships with relevant stakeholders and supporting internal functions.
  • Adhere to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in complying with audit, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform other responsibilities or projects assigned under the Group or Bank’s initiatives.

Skills Required

  • Experience in wealth management and Islamic financial products
