Role and Responsibilities

Retail Strategy & Channel Development

  • Develop and implement retail strategies in collaboration with Product Marketing and Channel teams to maximize channel performance and growth.

  • Identify and establish new retail channels to expand business reach and increase market penetration.

  • Ensure consistent execution of retail outreach programs to maintain strong engagement with store managers, floor sales staff, and other key influencers.

Performance Analysis & Improvement

  • Monitor and analyze channel sell-through, shop performance, and promotional results on an outlet-by-outlet basis.

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, retail price comparisons, and track competitor movements; provide timely insights and recommendations to Product Marketing and Channel teams.

  • Define and track key retail KPIs to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and resource allocation.

  • Conduct shelf share analysis and audits; develop improvement plans to enhance in-store visibility and share of shelf.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Channel Teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with field team needs.

  • Partner with Marketing and Channel teams to design and execute customized channel promotions that drive traffic and conversion.

  • Coordinate marketing data tracking, store capacity mapping, and retail shop mapping; develop actionable improvement plans based on insights.

  • Ensure alignment of marketing initiatives and budgets with overall retail execution.

Leadership & Training

  • Provide strong leadership in translating marketing strategy into impactful retail programs and campaigns.

  • Lead, coach, and manage training and development initiatives for channel partners, store staff, and retail marketing teams to improve retail execution standards.

  • Foster collaboration and synergy across retail, sales, and marketing functions to achieve common business goals.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management or direct supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess a Degree or higher preferably in Business, Economics or Marketing.

  • At least 10 years relevant sales and marketing experiences with FMCG industry, lifestyle or competitive companies

  • Strong knowledge in trade marketing, category management, account management background more than 6 years with a leading consumer products or FMCG companies

  • Strong record of creating a winning vision in an environment, emphasis on merchandising, promotion and partnerships

  • Ability to create and implement business strategies that grow biz & margins and manage key business metrics

  • Innovative and creative-ability to identify and evaluate creative ideas, focusing on those that will create competitive advantage

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment

  • Familiar with retail environment, dealers and channel management

  • Strong business acumen, awareness of market and retail trends.
