The Manager HCC MT – Spain, supports the Health Care Compliance activities in Spain, providing end-to-end strategic and operational compliance leadership for the Johnson & Johnson MedTech business. This role partners closely with country and regional leadership, Legal, business/functional stakeholders, and regional/global Compliance teams to ensure ethical business conduct, effective risk management, and adherence to healthcare laws, regulations, and company policies. The role has a significant impact on safeguarding the organization’s reputation while enabling compliant and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Health Care Compliance Officer for the markets.
  • Lead the development and execution of Health Care Compliance strategies aligned with global and regional priorities.
  • Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks related to commercial, promotional, professional education, and other functions and operational activities.
  • Provide proactive guidance and advice to business leaders on Health Care Compliance requirements and ethical decision‑making.
  • Partner with stakeholders to embed compliance controls into business processes.
  • Oversee compliance programs, training, monitoring, and issue management activities within the markets.
  • Partner with Legal and other functions to support investigations, audits, and regulatory interactions.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to anticipate and address emerging compliance risks.
  • Prepare and present compliance risk assessments, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Foster a strong culture of integrity and accountability.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field).
  • Advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Health Care Compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or other business related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of global, regional and market specific Health Care Compliance regulations and industry codes.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams or leading complex compliance programs.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, decision making and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
  • Prior experience supporting country‑level compliance programs within a global organization.
  • Familiarity with compliance monitoring, investigations, and remediation processes.
  • Experience operating in highly matrixed environments.
  • Strong change management and influencing capabilities.
  • Certifications: Compliance, legal, or ethics certifications preferred.
Other
  • Language: English required; Spanish additional fluency preferred.
  • Travel: Up to 20–30%, primarily within the relevant markets

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€61’800.00 - €106’260.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
