About the role:
Our Go-To-Market (“GTM”) FP&A team collaborates with our Sales, Marketing, Customer support and Customer success senior leaders and teams to develop our investment strategy, understand the potential outcomes, and continually iterate to ensure we're deploying resources in the best way to sustain Clio’s incredible growth.You'll play a critical role in supporting GTM strategies through data-driven financial analysis, establishing frameworks, forecasting and budgeting, ensuring that financial resources are optimized for maximum growth. What you’ll work on:

Business Partnering: Work closely with senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align GTM strategies with financial goals. Support business leaders in understanding financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development of the GTM annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models, aligning with overall business strategy and revenue goals.

Performance Analysis: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on comprehensive financial analysis of GTM initiatives, including sales, marketing, and customer success teams. Evaluate the financial effectiveness of GTM programs and campaigns.

Forecasting and Reporting: Own the financial forecasting processes for GTM-related expenses. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key variances, risks, and opportunities.

Cost Efficiency and ROI: Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of GTM activities and provide recommendations for optimizing spend and resource allocation across sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the broader FP&A and Finance team to drive financial & planning excellence.

Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of GTM FP&A processes, systems, and tools to streamline reporting and enhance overall efficiency.

Strategic Analysis & Ad-hoc Reporting: Conduct ad-hoc reporting on business performance and build financial models to support key strategic initiatives.

People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 finance analysts, providing clear guidance, support, and career development opportunities.
What you bring:

Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:
-
5-7 years of experience in finance - FP&A, equity research, investment banking, or a combination of these, ideally within a GTM FP&A or similar function.

Proven ability to manage and develop a team with at least 2 years in a people management role, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Skills:

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights. Curious and passionate about having an impact on the business.

Excellent communication, leadership and inter-personal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence cross-functional teams.

Strong proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Google docs, Pigment or similar).

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The full salary range* for this role is $112,200 to $140,200 to $168,200 CAD.Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
