Manager, Group Underwriting and Contract Administration
- Leads, coaches, and develops a team handling group underwriting and contract administration
- Oversees new business underwriting, renewals, implementations, and rate decisions within authority limits
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of system setup to support billing, reinsurance, and commissions
- Owns development and maintenance of group policy contracts and TPA agreements
- Oversees Third Party Administrators (TPAs) across underwriting, administration, billing, and claims
- Ensures compliance with CLHIA guidelines, legislation, and internal risk frameworks
- Reviews and approves marketing materials for compliance and contract accuracy
- Plays an active role on the Special Markets leadership team, contributing to divisional strategy and annual goals
- Is known for their ability to multitask and manage a high volume of complex, diverse functions
- Stands out for their knowledge of Group Insurance terminology, benefits and contract provisions
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and coaching skills
- Is recognized for their supervisory experience
- Has 5-7 years of experience in [industry/key skill]
